Important activities to be carried out

Trees will be planted in Puerto Rico and different activities will be organised there for children in the Marquesa Forest Park.

Students studying the Environmental Engineering degree in Mexico at the Institute of Technology will carry out different activities during WED. Amongst them, a conference forum, a fashion show called “For Mother Earth” and a bicycle ride are highlighted.

In Madrid, Spain, a storytelling session on the environment called “The Planet of Water” will be organised at the foot of the National Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The activity will stress the importance of water and its conservation through creativity and Reading.
